Not long now until my first workshop for the year and there are still a couple of spots left if anyone is interested.
I’ve been playing in the meantime. (Whenever it was cool enough to fire up the pots that is)

Firstly dyeing onto textured wool surfaces. This scarf pattern is called “Travel Scarf” and is by Zooty Owl. It is the second scarf I have made in that pattern. It will be a looooong time before I do another one in such fine wool! The body is pure wool and the trim is a handspun wool/ silk mix.

I’ve been playing with cotton and pre mordants again ….

And I’ve gone back to some lovely hand spinning I had made which didn’t dye as well as I had hoped, unpicked it and reworked it with a contrasting commercial yarn.

This reincarnation is supa snuggly
