Workshops in 2016!

Not only is 2016 upon us but January is almost gone!

I have 3 workshops booked and the first one is just over a month away!

I rarely get to see the results after a workshop so it is always exciting to see students again, or to hear from them.

former student Cassandra

Met up with Cassandra at one of the BVAC events at the Mt Coot-tha Botanic gardens last year and was so excited to see that she had kept on dyeing after the workshop AND that she was getting amazing results.  (I’m a bit jealous of that piece Cassandra! How’s that for a compliment?!)

I have to apologise to Cassandra.  At the time I tried to share this pic via my phone but it was convinced that she was someone from my Facebook Friends list and would not convinced otherwise so the pic went in the To Do File and we all know how that ends!

Meryl's Quilt

Another former student, Meryl of the Gatton Quilters sent me this pic of a quilt she made in a workshop with Robyn Christofel and Meredith Stone from Aratula.  The fabric she used for the mountains and rocks were from the my eco dyeing workshop in Gatton.  I love seeing what students turn their pieces into after a workshop and this one in particular is spectacular!
