Eco dyeing is the more recent element of my art practice..
In 2011 I began hearing about printing with leaves and was fascinated with the idea of recording a place or event this way. (If only I had had a proper look at “Eco Colour” by India Flint back when I was selling it at Borders! I could have started this journey sooner!)

I was recently invited to attend the opening of the Facets of Fairholme Art Exhibition by my former teacher. In typical Eco Dyer fashion I made off with the table centre piece! (I continually complain about how cold Toowoomba was so I knew the leaves would give good colour!)

This piece of moody wonderfulness was only with me for 24 hours! After unbundling it I was so in love with it that I took it along with me to an event the next day and it sold! 🧡
