Where is this year going?! If you are interested in learning Eco Dyeing, I have 3 different workshops coming up to suit all budgets.
If you want a quick taste I am running a 2 hour workshop to make a Concertina Book at Forager’s Nest Art Space on Wed 3rd May. Learn the basics of eco dyeing on paper, just in time to make Mum a card for Mother’s Day.
On June 17th I’ll be running a 1 day workshop at Art from the Urban Wilderness. This one will get you started eco dyeing on both fabric and paper.
In September I’ll be running a weekend workshop, on the 23th &24th, at Queensland Spinners Weavers and Fibre Artists. I prefer this format as it gives both the students and the eco dyeing time to absorb.
Markets and Exhibitions
All the fun of QSWFA’s Open Day returns in May with lots of yummy handmade items, but let’s face it, we’re all hanging out for the petting zoo!
And in July I will be in the Vacent Assembly Pop Up Space in West End. I am hard at work building a textile installation that will continue to grow and evolve over the run of the exhibition. More on that to come …
