To Mapleton and back again

After my workshop at Qld Spinners my giant pot stayed behind to make the trip up to Mapleton for the QSWFA annual camp.

I had been invited to run a mini workshop on Saturday 1st of August and decided to stay on an join the camp having not been on a similar adventure since high school.  AS soon as possible on the Friday I disappeared of on the Bush Walking Trail in search of leaves for the pot.  It is a beautiful place, you very quickly feel like you are deep in the rain forest with the sounds of nature and the cries of native birds taking over.
