Sheltering under the Canopy

My upcoming exhibition “Canopy Urbanisation’ keeps ebbing back and forth in my mind.

How are the two themes and their materials going to come together?

Recent events just keep battering and reshaping ideas.

A comment from Matthew clarified that the eco dyed section is the calm within the storm.
It needs to be it’s own, sheltering space.

So I have constructed these 3 panels which will become the “tent” using prints made with leaves from a trip to Western Queensland.

I thought they needed embellishment and movement but they seem con”tent” as they are.

How will said tent be constructed?  That’s the next problem.

“Canopy Urbanisation” runs from Feb 26th to Mar 2nd. 10-4 daily in the Richard Randall Studio, Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens
