its Botanique time again!

Botanique is back and yet again Bettina has brought together a great bunch of artists and a beautiful range of works.  When I dropped off my stock I found at least 3 Must Haves and that was while the show was still under construction!
Other exciting news: my eco dyeing is now on sale at Kazuyo’s Collection at West End.
I’ve started experimenting with knitting cowls and scarves and then eco dyeing them.

Was very pleased with my first effort.  I’ve done 2 infinity scarves since this one.  Both are much softer, delicate colours. Both are available at Kazuyo’s, and I’m now knitting another couple,  Each one is individual as I don’t follow patterns, instead making it up as I go.
At the beginning of the month I set up 2 exhibitions for Qld Spinners Weavers & Fibre Artists in 2 Brisbane City Council Libraries, Carindale & Brisbane Square in the city.  I have eco dyeing on display in both and have built 2 cabinet installations in Brisbane Square,

The Space Between

The Space Between

“The Space Between”  The blue rope is hand twined.  It is made from bed sheets.  After a traumatic event  a couple of years ago I took to my bed.  3 days later when I emerged I tore up the sheets.  How Tracey Emin of me!
