I am one of 16 artists taking part in Botanica – Contemporary Art Outside, an exhibition being held in the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens, 6-15 April during the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

My artwork, Unearthed, writes the history of the Gardens back onto the landscape using Augmented Reality 360° photographs, accessed via your smartphone.
I love that using the App means that we are laying the history onto the landscape in an ephemeral way.
I have been very fortunate to work on this project with the very talented Joshua Textor and Jasmine Wake. In university I was reading about the new technology of Virtual Reality. Now I’m collaborating with people who work with it every day.
